Students in Buda are located with-in the Hays Consolidated Independent School District (HCISD). The phenomenal growth in the district has added many new neighborhoods and schools. Boundaries change as schools and homes are added so buyers and residents should contact the school district for exact boundaries and other school related information. Private educational facilities are also available. Buda is located in an area where residents can access a variety of colleges and universities in Austin or San Marcos. Some offer satellite campuses for convenience.
